Collect locally available materials that you can use to make earmuffs. Learners at Werevu School collected the following locally available waste materials for this activity:
- a piece of fluffy cloth
- cotton wool
- old hairband
- thread
- pins
- scissors and a needle
They were careful when using sharp cutting and sewing tools.*
* Safety kit: Caution: The learners were very careful when using the cutting and sewing tools. They protected themselves against cuts and piercings.
