Group Activity 3

In groups of three:

  1. Get two equal rectangular paper strips.
  2. Divide one of the papers into four equal parts and shade 34.
  3. Divide the second paper strip into six equal parts. Shade five parts to get 56.
  4. Compare the part shaded 34 and the part shaded 56.
  5. Discuss and share with other groups.
