In groups:
- Write any six 5-digit numbers on cards.
- Arrange the cards with numbers from smallest to the largest.
- What did you notice as you arranged the numbers?
- Discuss and share the results with other groups.
Note
As you arrange the numbers, consider the size of the digits and their place values.

Group Activity 8
In groups of five:
- Each member of the group writes a digit on a card.
- Use the digits on the cards to form six different 5-digit numbers.
- Write all the numbers formed.
- Arrange the numbers formed from the largest to the smallest.
- Discuss and share with other groups.
