Relationship between litres and millilitres

Group Activity 4

In groups of five:

  1. Get 500 ml bottles and a 1 l bottle.
  2. Fill the 1 l bottle with water.
  3. Transfer the water into 500 ml bottles.
  1. Fill a 1 l bottle with water using:
    1. 100 ml bottle
    2. 200 ml bottle
    3. 250 ml bottle
    4. 500 ml bottle
  2. Count how many bottles of each size fill the 1 l bottle.
