In pairs:

Draw a circle.
Divide the circle into four equal parts.
Colour $\frac{2}{4}$ of the circle in red.
Colour $\frac{1}{4}$ of the circle in yellow.

Discuss the results and share with other groups.

Add: $\frac{3}{8} + \frac{4}{8}$

Note

To add fractions with the same denominators, add the numerators and keep the same denominator
